Good news is the welding of the driver side should be done today... Then the body work can be finished once the wiring is done.
welding is all done on the driver side and filler has been laid on the fender.... doing the rear quarter tomorrow. will post pics of what i have in a little bit hopefully
Body work started on the quarter last night. I'm hopefully starting the rear bumper tomorrow before work
Thanks.... Rust holes and cancer seems to be missing from your vehicle. Must be nice not having to deal with winters and salt. If that was a 94 from Ohio, it would be much lighter and have greatly improved ventilation. Enjoying your thread....
today was a very productive day. the driver door was put on, the wheels were pulled off for paint, the poppers are both wired (i do have to take it somewhere to have the alarm programed for them though) but overall a productive day. should have a body guy working on the car tomorrow to try and get it finished and ready for paint, a little bit of welding needs to be done, my center caps come in tomorrow and those will be getting painted with my rims. hopefully by monday or tuesday i can send the car to paint so it can cure before i drive it to vegas.
What color are you getting it painted? I wish i was ready for paint, but it is a long way off for me. Looking forward to seeing it in Vegas :cornut:.
its going to be a jeep green...the rims are a graphite color and should be finished today to go back on the car monday. i should upload pics later tonight of what i have
so today i went to work on my rims and recieved my centercaps here is how the rims started then etching primer then filler primer and finally and these are the center caps i ordered they still need to be cleaned and painted.
so my hatch was started yesterday and the cars body work should be finished this weekend. there were a couple of dents on the hatch he was also fixing and another picture of my rims before they are done i still need to paint the center caps and put on the matching audi logos.
car should be getting the last of the welding today. the license plate plinthe was cut out yesterday and the new custom metal one is going in today as well as the rest of the body work being finished. whether or not the car gets painted before the show is up in the air thanks to normal car issues on other cars. but we will see i also finished the rims today and should have those all put together and on the car. tires are on their way
so today the plate tub was finished. i will post pics later when i upload them. so the hatch just needs finishing and its done.
The center piece looks suspiciously like the mounting portion of a hole saw... Or am I just seeing things? Nice progress...:cornut:
