Thank you John and Suzie for arranging such a wonderful outing. "The Dad" and Preston had a blast talking with members of the Club, the servicemen and women and observing the car ballet. After lunch Preston commented on what a great group of people belong to the Club and how friendly and welcoming you all are. Thank you all MINI members for allowing Bitize and I to bring them along.

"The Dad" and I hope to run into some of you tomorrow at the Car Show. For those "showing" tomorrow... break a lug nut or whatever is appropriate for a car. :D

Wow, I had some serious catching up to do (page 6-19)!! Y'all have been active & been having lots of fun. Cubby, you're right about Nicks R53 -- it put down some awesome numbers & shamed JIMINNImachine into submission. I think it had +22whp more? :arf:

He is a she. color not that important, preferance toward BRG or Purple Haze.
Either a Justa' or S would work. Must be an Auto and she would like a clubman and for the $ to be below 15K with under 50K miles.

I think a Clubman of any kind is going to be a little hard to find at that price and mileage if it's not a POS. And stay away from first generation Coopers with auto transmissions.

I think I know where a BRG Cooper "S" is maybe the owner would want to sell it and start fresh.... It has a custom plate on it something like MINICHF :eek6:

    Steve,
I was in your neck of the woods, while working on a follow up. I stopped by the shop, and saw you weren't there.

I think it would be cool if a MidCal car pulled this off as we moved from NAM to here and as someone said activity begets activity. :cornut:

I was in the Bay Area yesterday doing maintenance on one of my surveillance systems in Richmond. It looked like the economy wasn't affecting the drug dealer on the corner and the homeless were out in force.
