Ehhhhhh.....last year's level 12 hangover drive home in the FPD (which is like sitting in an echo chamber) with no a/c, etc. etc. etc. cured me from making the 7-hour drive. I'm more of a 50min plane ride & then sipping cocktails type of vacation person. :cornut:

Jim AMVIV is more then just the 5 letters. Sit your self in a great looking R56 in the passenger seat and enjoy the ride we all know that Janet knows how to get there

Hey I just wanted to drop you guys a reminder of the Vintage Racing at Laguna Seca on Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st. Steve will be running in a 30 car field including Mini, BMW, Porsche, MG, Datsun, Triumph and Alpha Romeo... According to the schedule, they show there will be "track tours" during lunch each day. We hope some of our fellow MidCal members can make it by either day and enjoy the array of cars in each of the different classes. Anyone planning to go and needing a place to stay might look at the SCCA website. They have a list of hotels with phone numbers that may help.
While it's not the Monterey Historics, it's close. C'ya there!
Oh, and by the way..... :beer Afterwards.............:ihih:Attached Files:

They say things run in three's so the third one in my family has been identified. 0315 wake up call from our middle daughter that she was coming out of a tunnel trying to get to the off ramp when she hit the truck in front of her. Both drivers are ok, hopefully she can get it into a shop quickly for repair as she is suppose to leave in two days to fly out here to CA. Car was steaming after collision and would not drive when she attempted to get it off the road.

I think they can do the authorization etc over the fax and phone. She was going to work on that with the insurance company and repair facility today and tomorrow. I asked her to send the estimate this way as I want to look for the radiator mount and radiator as I expect those to be done based on location and steam after it happened.
