What you need is a tire pressure monitor system, or at least get the one in your car looked at........:arf:

I think you'll be fine with the Motorola. The sound quality sucks most of the time anyway since people have cheap ones that sound like crap and most people speak too close to the mic. If everyone had expensive ones then it would matter more. The better quality units do clean up the sound a bit. Just my opinion, I'm no radio expert.

Motorola has always made great radio stuff. You also amy want to check out the Cobra PR250WX (micro talk). Like Motorola, they've been in the radio business for ever and have always had a quality product as well. We have had them for a few years and have never had a problem. Mostly used on vacation and trips to the desert or beach on the quads. Used 'em on a couple MINI runs and they worked well too. They claim to have an 8 mile distance, have 22 channels, 38 privacy codes, 10 channel NOAA, scan, call alert, etc. Just my 2 bits worth...

    Happy hunting. Jon.

Decisions almost to many decisions... with over 10 million combinations of MINI Coopers choosing a replacement for Suzie is not easy. She is selling her MY Bee to our daughter who's car was totaled by the insurance company. Moving into an "S" and it looks like a 07 or newer convertible is where were at. Xenon headlights are a manditory and she is looking at an automatic. Time will tell and this next month will be interesting as we look at all the available options and choices.

    Steve:
I can't believe you want to do this with your MINI as part of the rebuild.

This is clearly the result of inappropriate co-mingling between frogs and smurfs during that most fertile time of the month... :nonod: One should have more common sense.

I need'a cold one......:beer or two.....:beer:beer Hmm, that makes three.

Ok its official, with the upcoming deployment in just under two months and with the 2007 Bee going to our daughter Kathleen to replace her 2004 Indy Blue Cooper were going to be a single Mini family here at home. Suzie is going to pay off a couple of our bills and save her change etc and when I get home next year were looking at the White Silver Cabrio "S" of course as a replacement for her. Lots of options and so many choices however it looks like we will be building one with the options that we want going thru our bank to do the deal.
