Well then I think its time for one of these? :ihih:
-
Dude, I'm all 'bout it! Can't wait to get it on the FPD. :cornut:
OMG, this "Have you seen Nitro's car? He has more gauges and switches than a Kenworth and the crazy red and black everywhere looks like he fashioned it after an 80's metal band." is freakin' hilarious!!  -
Yes it seems my MINI was being talked about on another forum? At first I thought :confused5::incazzato: than realized it is funny and so fitting.
Here is another quote I liked! "You end up flying the car like a pilot rather then driving it."
Which in my case is fitting as I am a pilot! Jim can tell you my next project in the planning state.:ihih: -
Dude, I didn't know you were a pilot! You my friend are a renaissance man. Well done. :cornut: Oh, just so Jim doesn't give me a hard time -- y'all are high on my "must see" priority list, but next week I/we have a trip to the in-law's.

Going into the day and it already looks like a long one  Last minute parts that need to be changed will mean that Casa is not going to happen tonight. Between getting my 12 aircraft ready for the flight and coordinating the 4 tanker aircraft and 1 cargo support aircraft that leave on Sunday it is going to be an interesting day to say the least. I start my journeys tomorrow as I head to Travis AFB so that I can get on board an airborne gas station aka a tanker to head west on Sunday. I'll miss a few Friday's at Casa, Saturday's at the shop, monthly meetings and of course the runs but I will be back soon. Be safe and I'll see you all soon.

Chief been fun hanging out at shop, thanks for all the help on the mini. have a fun and safe journey.

Renaissance man....yes I do go to Casa de fruita faire renaissance faire about every other year
I received my basic pilots license early in High School when I was in AFROTC. Later became instrument rated and then started to what I really wanted was to be Seaplane rated.Life prevailed and it never happened. I would have gone into any US service that would have let me fly Jets but the physical exam (eyes) screwed me on that. I did have an Ultra Light business selling the Weedhopper in Rancho Cordova, Viper Aeronautics in 1978. That sorta fulfilled the desire to be like a "bird"?
Ok so your trip to the in-law means......?
We will not see you again on our trip down for the meeting? :frown2: -
That is interesting, I had my A&P plus a private pilots license and the eye exam kept me out of Army flight school. There was a stinking war going on and they still would not even let me fly helicopters. Go figure.

Facing the full moon rising we're going to run up I-5. I knew that I was going to be late but I did not expect it to be this long of a day.
