The sad part was that we passed up a spot in the back due to the size of the vehicles on both sides and were coming around the corner to see if there were any better spots safe for Suzie's bee when we got hit. I guess this is a real "Door Ding" one that I don't wish to repeat.
Oooohh!!! That bites!! Sorry you guys have to go through all that drama. Stupid kids & their texting, tweetering & stuff.
John, remember to tell the ins. co. that you just had a ding removed from that door. You just spent money on that, I think that money should be recovered?
Cost to the insurance company will be just under 1800 plus the rental while the Bee is being repaired.
Eldon, great to finally meet you in-person & welcome to the wild world of MidCal MINIs!! There's a number of great things about being a MINI person....well, maybe not JIMINNI's vortex generators. The world of modding & personalizing is a slippery slope, so whenever you'd like to help tracking down the totally unique part/idea -- feel free to post for us to chime in! I had an absolute blast this weekend hanging out with y'all at the shop. I'm excited to learn what the FPD's "thinking" when I/we review the readout's. Big-ups to Dr.Jay & his evil sidekick - the infamous "Mr.MW". :cornut: The bonus was I finally passed my smog! Between the "adjustments" we did I ended up with the emissions of an electric car. :arf: Now back to race mode. Dr.Steve, keep up the great work -- show season's gonna be a lot of fun! How hot is this. :ihih:
Joe GREAT to hear you passed... now were is the "GOLD" star for you. I was wondering was there still Clean power in the tank even in diluted state?
Ok, last one of the evening -- I stumbled across this & haven't stopped laughing. It's JIMINNI's online mad-posting thought.
You should have hung around later Joe.......Jay did some super duper fine tuning on my ride....:eek6:.....now you way behind mang :ihih:.... better call Lynn and at least get the spring kit
nostalgic for me Here is something funny I just came across....Before my MTH ECU Flash on stock ecu CA smog EPA recall ecu re-flash. I am not going to post the chart so don't ask.... This is one of my mytry chassis dyno runs...... here is what my MINI did in September 2005. 186whp@5200 Idle 900 rpm HC ppm 141 CO % 0.051 CO2 % 5.0 02 % 13.3 NO LOAD 5200 rpm HC ppm 27 CO % 0.76 CO2 % 14.2 02 % 0.7 This was on the following mods: 15% Alta CAI OBX first generation hedder w/test tube 2-1/2 exhaust single muffler no resonator CA 91 octane non winter mix fuel The purpose of using the chassis dyno was not to see the output but rather to simulate load and see if I could still pass emission with minor mods when my time came. Yup pretty clean I should say....:ihih: So lets see your emission numbers Joe....
JOE....congrats that is clean engine. I just read it the e-mail ....:beer I owe you a bottle of wine.. Your MINI is cleaner than mine and twice the mods and lots more power? :cornut:
hmmm looking at your chart again I think I smell a CAT with those numbers!!!! foul I say foul.... Not fair rrr:
Dude! I didn't even get that opportunity - you totally hogged the last 6-hours of the day so it wasn't even an option for me. Mannnnnn...you're lucky I like you. rrr: Nitro, yep - I can't believe how clean my run was with the setup.
Dude at the end 6:30 pm, it was just me and Steve and Mike and Jay, so we got all the cool stuff nobody else saw :arf: Should have stayed dogg Yea but you had to actually drive the car for 50 miles just to blow out all the carbon build up before it would smog
Speaking of this.....after we data logged a ride in my car and proceeded to look at it on the computer......the readings on the pre O2 and the post O2 senors was just about identical......you know what I mean
