Now that Suzie has gotten rid of her car the research has started. Known facts it needs to be an "S" and it will be a Cabrio. The rest will be decided during the next six months as we look while I'm on deployment
Well, there is that. You are a brave man my friend, leaving your wife alone with the configurer while you are deployed, as the sheet she shows you might not be the one she gives the dealer. Jim
Exactly, use to work from Newport to Sweet Home and then Salem to Eugene area. I wanted the north west but did not want the snow of Montana.
what??? com'on its not a "puddle jumper" I did flip a 150, over shot the tarmac on landing and stuck the gear in the mud...tail went over. Rather embarrassing. But it was a rental and I was covered.
This SR-71 that Lourie is sitting in the Engine is the Famous Retired #972  Aside from the speed records it holds there are things that this specific Plane did that are still classified today.
Long story (which I have already told elsewhere on this site), but I actually climbed all over an SR-71 back in 1969 while it still had a Top Secret classification. Wrong place, at the right time and that really is one bad a** airplane. Jim
