Hey there Everyone, I have a big favor to ask. I will be traveling down to Fresno on May 9th to pick up all my stuff in storage. I could sure use some help from some Mid Cal friends. I arrive at the airport around 10:30am and need a ride at least over to the shop, but also need ride down to Visalia to pick up the truck and help loading all my stuff into said truck and help loading my Jeep on the trailer. I sure hope to be able to see some of my old Friends even though this is a turn and burn trip.
Have to be back at work Monday morning. We are stating a big roll out of the Kroger supermarkets. I was thinking that the loading would take maybe 2 hours tops depending on the help and that it could be done in the evening.
Going to Niello BMW for a test drive tomorrow, as I just told Jim the car I'm looking at is a 2006 Hyper Blue S with several packages. Yes it is the same color as Suzie's with several differences the least of which is the bonnet stripes. Hers are white and the one that I'm looking at has black. Time to start the MOD list for my new car and with the retirement from the Navy Master Blaster needed to retire also. Much like the Yin / Yang symbol the white Yin is considered to be female and the black Yang is considered to be male. With 27 years of marriage I think it fitting since my first car was Indy Blue I go back to a blue car. I'll keep you all informed. On a side note Steve the JCW down south was not working out the sale was going no where even though he thinks he wants to sell it I think it, he really is doing nothing more then trying to piss off his wife for whom he had purchased the car and who was not driving it.
R53 is a great way to go... There's a guy I ran into a few weeks ago that has an MC40 for sale. I'd have'ta research to find the guy's number and the car info. Kinda seems ta be a shame ta have'ta pinch allthat R56 stuff..... But it's ok to step backwards now and again.
Going to Niello for a test drive and possible purchase. If it ends up being the car I get it will be "YANG" I'll keep you posted. I see sunny days either way in the future as I'm going for a soft top.
At the very least, that's a far better looking Yang than the one on Grey's Anatomy... As far as the rag top goes, and you know this, get yourself a nice hat and all will be well. And, wow, a family of three topless flashers... Look out Lemoore. (well ya are retired) Enjoy!
TRAY DRIFTING!!! I'm all over it. Got my trays ready? Do you? [ame=http://vimeo.com/27523519]Challenge Accepted: Tray Drifting on Vimeo[/ame]
Where was this video last weekend when Bitzie picked up a screw in the sidewall of her rear tyre? Note to self: buy two trays next time I'm at Target.
Borrow some from McDonalds! Get a burger from the dollar menu, borrow a tray. I'm gettin 10 Gluing 5 together for each wheel. I'll get 5 runs out of it
