Autoevolution posted spy shots of what could be a GP version of the MINI Coupe. If we look back to the posts here on the upcoming GP (Link) we see some similarities. This Roadster is fitted with the same "updated design" GP style wheels. Looking at the rear we also see the same MINI swirly camouflage drawing attention to the big diffuser in the rear bumper. Could MINI be working on some JCW accessories or a possible Coupe GP.
Not feeling it. I like the Coupe, but not as a GP. IMO if the badge makes another appearance it needs to be on the hardtop.
GP II will first arrive on the R56 hardtop, preview scheduled just weeks away at MINI United :cornut:
I think it should stay as a Hardtop only offering. I sure hope they don't spread over all platforms....
The fixed wing parts illustration is in the parts catalog but the only numbers available are the ones for the stripes. I'm in Germany next week and I'm going to find a dealer to see if they have numbers yet over there. I'm wanting the fixed wing bad!!!
:cornut: Attached to the Boot lid(?), it(spoiler and boot lid) better be well braced. I've seen young guys around here(college town) do that and they ripped off at highway speeds:eek6:. Hilarious:lol: but dangerous to the other drivers. Jason
Is that rear lower fascia vinyl covered? I see it used on all the spy photo's used to disguise a cars lines, does anyone know?
Word has been floating around that the next Gen GP will be making an appearance at MINI United this May. After a little more reading it turns out according to Motoringfile, the GP badge will be its own high performance group, braking away from JCW package. According to the artical the whole line will be available with a GP badge this year. What a let down. MotoringFile » Archive » Exclusive: MINI’s GP Line-up Revealed
