I was wondering if anyone else thinks it may be considered rude of new members joining the MA not to at least pop in and introduce themselves before going straight to threads and posting? I am referring to not the absolute newbies to forums but known members of other forums that join up and think they are so well known to all that they don't need to be polite and say hi here at the "The Starting Line"? Thoughts opinions?
thumbs up on taking your MINI forum passions private, Nathan. I went that route years back on my illustration site's message board after using a freehost in my case, and not liking not having control over what some other entity might be doing with my data. My board has been free, open and privately owned ever since. Glad I found this board!
Mid Cal Mini Newbie Thanks for the welcome Nathan. Great site. Not sure where to go first. I have had my Mini for 5 months now, and I cant drive it enough! Addiction can be a good thing, in the case of a MINI!!! Just wanted to say Hi to all and to to let Mid Cal Mini I am aboard with Motoring Alliance.
Nope I have absolutely no problem with people jumping into the deep end as thier first posts. I don't often read the treads about "hi I'm new here" or the like. But that's just me, others may feel differently.... Matt
for those of you who still have not figured me out [not that it matters]... ...I am NOT Way Motor Works New York! I am WMWNY, also known as Welshmenwillnotyield, from that "other" MINI site! Whew...now I am glad that that has all been cleared up. Waylen can breathe a sigh of relief...
Thanks, MetalMan. I see you are in Columbus...I get serviced at MAG, from time to time. I used to do the breakfast gatherings at Tim Horton's in New Albany, but kinda wore out my welcome...lol...so I just stay put now, go to MOTD, or HPDEs with Buckeye BMWCCA.

Welcome to M/A and good for you. I think you are reading for Richmond, VA, so be sure to double check your map. \ Lots of rain of late, raining now and they are calling for it through Thursday, so take your water wings with you. Jim
Welcome to M/A, Wildcard. You sound like some kind of "Wild and Crazy Guy", in a good way. Good luck with your JCW, really fun MINI's. Don't get any speeding tickets. Oh, and watch out for the JCW torque steer. If you aren't careful, it'll bite you back.
Welcome Jeff! I thought for sure that you would have done the MTTS route to Indy. I just realized that I never posted an intro when I joined up, just went straight to the Mid-Ohio forum. My name is Brian, I live outside of Columbus, and I have a '06 PH/S Cooper S. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
