rum4....I can relate also...lost Dad to Colon cancer 18 years ago, and Mom just last year, Dec. 26, no cancer though, but knowing where they are now takes the sting away, well somewhat.

To you who have lost your parents(and others), my heart and prayers go out to you. You have accomplished much in spite of that, probably due to parental teaching.Yes I lost my parents in 1966(Dad) and 1997(Mom) so some would say that I was well prepared for this. They would be wrong. Each time is different and I catch myself looking up and saying, "Sir do I have to go through this again?" He tells my heart yes you must but I and your friends on earth will help you.

PS Don't think that Nathan is staying aloof. He sends his feelings via PM. That's just Nathan, one of the good guys.

Jason, the year may have changed but that's all. I'm sure we're all busy keeping you and Margi in our prayers. All the best to you two. Your courage is very admirable. You're my hero, my friend. I'm sure Margi draws upon your energy as well. Keep up the good work. Please kiss Lady Margi for all of us please.

Good for her -- still in charge and calling the shots. And just a bit of normalcy.

Prayers go up daily for you guys. I just wish there were other things we could do.

    Prayers sent up daily.

Glad you drug the old recliner down for her. Good for her to still be calling the shots.
