:cornut: The Prayers/Good Vibes/Positive Feelings from y'all, Margi and my love for each other, our children's and grand children's love and support, and the love of God are what help the most!!!!!!!!!! If Lady Margi could only take rides in MINI Margi but alas, the suspension stiffness just causes her too much pain. MA MINI people are the greatest. A happy Thanksgiving to all.

Jason Montague New MemberLifetime Supporter:cornut: Yes fellow MINIacs, she is brave and strong and inspires the rest of us. I also give credit to y'all for your support which helps immensely. One person said that he didn't know what to say which was the exact right thing for him to say. Y'all are great and hopefully I've made it clear what a great help that y'all have been. Just your words, thoughts, vibes, and prayers have done amazing things for Margi and I. (I apologize for only using a limited number of yawl's posts but I'm sure that everyone understands that I just couldn't include them all).

And anything you can do to help also helps you immensely. She is very blessed to have you with her. I hope you both continue to find new ways to ease your pain.
And you have made us all stop and be thankful for the ones we have beside us. For that we thank you both.-

Prayers and good thoughts for the day, Jason. Make sure your hands are warm or that new chair has a great heater.
Sometimes a little dry/odd humor can be the best medicine for the one who is giving care and sharing the hard times.
I can say, we all are here with you and for you and your wife.

Jason Montague New MemberLifetime SupporterFunny that you should mention the 'cold hands' routine Don but unfortunately you're too late. I think that it was about massage #2 that that very thing happened. I was keeping it top secret(have you been spying on me?) as it made me feel like a complete idiot especially after 35yrs of automatically and faithfully warming the stethoscope and hands prior to examining a patient. On this day my common sense(which I don't have much of to begin with and have always depended on Margi for) had dived right out of the window with my brain in tow as Margi said that she needed a massage. So I placed my ice block hands right on the skin of Margi's mid back in the very sensitive 'tickle area'. Poor Margi's eyes got as big as platters, her entire spine instantly arched into full extension and she instinctively inhaled a huge breath in a micro second causing rapid diaphragmatic pressure on the pancreas thereby causing a rapid but brief (thank God) increase in pain. My 'little voice' (remember Thomas Magnum?) immediately starts screaming "you moronic Nazi thug, do you even realize what you just did to the helpless Lady that you supposedly love?" I would have shot myself had I had a weapon in hand. The pain passed rapidly though as I pulled my hands away and replaced her blanket at warp speed and started massaging through the blanket. I just wanted to crawl under the bed and die. Fortunately the pain spike rapidly decreased and Margi said that her pain was now almost gone. While I'm profusely apologizing, groveling, and begging forgiveness, Margi smiles and massages my hands to warm them. Yup that's the way it happened. We both smile about it now but, at the time............................. Thanks for the prayers Don(and every one here at MA).

Hey Jason, if it isn't too personal, I'm sure we'd all like to be informed of the progress. Remember, we're all family here at M/A! And you can count on our prayers continuing.

Jason, you and Margi have both been added to my daily intercessions. May God protect you both, giving you both strength and courage in the months ahead.
To His glory, may Margi be healed of this cancer, trusting in God's wisdom. May her healing be a beacon to others to put their trust in God.
May the medical professionals use all the skills that their Creator (acknowledged or not) has imbued them with to aid Margi's recovery, to ease her pain, and to bring her comfort. May God's healing spirit go beyond human capability, and may you share in that healing.
Our times are short, Lord. We know by faith that You will heal us completely, either now or when we at last come to see You. We welcome, wait for, and anticipate that complete restoration in and to You.
In your son Jesus' name, who died that we might live, I pray.-

Jason Montague New MemberLifetime Supporter:cornut:Anti-nausea med working great. I'm glad that they got Rose's meds straightened out. Margi's only glitch was a doctor that we don't have to see any more.

Make the best of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Years. Pray that your spirits remain strong during these unbelievably trying times. Jason, it's hard to think of something to say in view of your pain. I'm truly sorry your family has to undergo this sadness. I will offer up tomorrow's Rosary and Sunday Mass for your family. May God guide you in the coming days.

Jason, you're my hero. The way you've handled things is very impressive to me and, I'm sure, to others here as well. I'm sure you're just as comforting to Margi too. Margi is also a trooper. While we haven't met, I'm very proud to know both of you.
Best of luck to you both and please keep up the updates. We're all hoping for the best for you both.
Stay strong, my friend.-
