Good story, glad it ended somewhat well. Thinking about you kids, hope all is still going well. Take care, prayers to you and your wife. Don
:sad: UPDATE!!!!!! Margi saw the Doctor yesterday because of worsening abdominal ascites(fluid which collects in and causes distension of the abdomen. Very similar to what happens to alcoholics and hepatitis B + C people who have chirrosis). The follow up CAT scan with contrast won't be done until next week but this complication in and of itself points to a rapidly deteriorating Portalhepatocirculation(blood circulation between the intestines, portal vein, and liver is being blocked by the tumor at one or all of these organs). This situation is DIRE and ( the Doctor said) irreversible. He told Margi that the CAT scan next week will tell us more but even without it he told her that she might see Christmas but probably not Valentine's Day. Please keep the prayers, positive thoughts, and good vibes coming.:sad: Jason
Sorry to hear that Jason. Y'all stay strong, prayers sent daily. Live it up while y'all can. God Speed!!
Make the best of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Years. Pray that your spirits remain strong during these unbelievably trying times. Jason, it's hard to think of something to say in view of your pain. I'm truly sorry your family has to undergo this sadness. I will offer up tomorrow's Rosary and Sunday Mass for your family. May God guide you in the coming days. Dave
Ongoing prayers for something better than what's happening right now. Anything. Platitudes and best wishes, no matter how well intentioned, are worthless right now, I know. Stay strong for Margi. Hold her close.
 UPDATE!!!! New CAT scan results are in. The tumor continues to grow and metastasize. Please continue the prayers, good vibes, and positive feelings. They help a lot. Jason
Sorry to hear that news Jason and I am sure all of M/A is prying for you and Margi. Stay strong brother.
