cool word...I'll have to find a way to use it today.
Here's my contribution..not a word, but more slang:
Was watching "16 and pregnant" on MTV (please don't ask why, I question myself)...and this couple was arguing about going out to have fun now that that they have twin babies and the guy uses the statement "it's not like we are having Target or WalMart fun...." I think he was comparing that to having fun going out with friends...anyways fell off my couch laughing at that. -

pygmalionism; the eating of little people by lions, pygmalionism. :arf:
Nathan, I couldn't resist.::lol::lol::lol:
A word a day! Great idea.:cornut: -
You know you suffer from pygmalionism when you fall in love with the mods you've made to your MINI. -
There is a fine line between agalmatophilia and pygmalionism.
Pygmalionism is love of a self made object while agalmatophilia is sexual attraction to a statue, doll, mannequin or other similar figurative object, not necessarily of one's creation.
Agalmatophilia is from the Greek agalma 'statue', and -philia = love -

Cool
I like new words.

For example, both could apply to a situation where one is in sexually attracted to a self made statue. Maybe we need a new word: pygmalionagaltophilia.
And if it was a statue of yourself, than it could be narcissopymalionagaltophilia.
And if it was an inflatable statue of yourself (some of us would require an air compressor in this situation where others may be able to get by with a bicycle pump), it would be aeronarcissopymalionagaltophilia.
Now THAT is a killer word. -
And people say etymology isn't fun....
