ABF is proud to announce the MegaMINI Spec Springs for the R56 Hatch and R55 Clubman. These are the famous "127" springs that was on our Time Attack JCW when it turned in the time of 1:27 at the Streets of Willow Race Track. What set these springs apart from others on the market: - these are custom Spring rate designed by Dr. Hubie Fuh, manufactured by Eibach specifically for ABF. - these springs provide a very desirable drop to your MINI without breaking your wallet - these springs are race-ready, yet still maintains a comfortable ride on the streets. - these are the same springs that are on all the ABF Road Tour MINIs with over 50,000 combined miles of track and street testing. - these are SPEC springs that qualifies for contingencies for those avid weekend racers (details of the Contingency Plan will be released in the 2nd half of 2010). Besides testing on our own Road Cars, we've been field testing these springs with a few selected customers in Socal and all the feedbacks have been 100% positive. These will be yours for $300.00 Shipped (for the ContiUSA). MSRP is $349.00 per set... Please contact me for purchasing info. Dealers, please contact me for wholesale pricing. Here are some installation pics on R56 & R55: Post Installed on a Clubman: cheers. mike
If you'd like a set, then let me know and i'll make the arrangements. We've done a lot of field testing prior to releasing this product both on the tracks and on the streets... we do not use customers' cars for testing, that's not how we do it... nonetheless, thanks for the offer
Oh..these are nice springs. I had the chance to flog a few MINIs with these at the ABF Road Tour and since Wednesday I've been in a '10 R56 S while a new clutch is being fitted. The springs made a big difference in handling capabilities. Didn't drive the Road Tour cars around town so can't comment on ride quality.
Correct. They are Eibach springs with Custom spring rates (which qualifies for the SPEC Series later this year). There are many other springs out on the market, choose the one that best fits your budget.
I have the jcw suspension and was wondering how these springs would compare. Also where can we get these springs
We have two factory JCW's and both sit up like they are going off-roading. Not sure if that's the case here for you. You can get them from me and i can ship them over via USPS, have to get you an exact quote on shipping cost
Price is fine....springs for Subarus are more. What's the drop and spring rates? MAJOR kudos for resisting the temptation to drop the car 2 inches and expecting to go fast at the track....i'm sure it's a huge reason why these springs are fast. - drew
Heh....the people that are really good at lowering their car really far without rubbing and can do it right actually know a lot about suspension, so they're okay in my book. Like rally on here.
