 I said this to qualify you as not so much an expert in judgment of speeds and the vehicles at which they are attained. In boating ( presumption you are referring to either a squirt or v drive and not an IO with regards to 90 & 120mph speeds) if you have an engine and haul designed to carry 120mph than you will do just that.(unless a mechanical problem limiting the original concept. So if you in fact are challenging 120mph hauls with your 90 mph haul than they are not really giving you a run and you would be foolish to presume a faster boat! I said faster not quicker which is another thing we could dis qualify your exaggerations. Gosh now how do I know this........ Not all my toys have wheels !! The MINI attaining a 170mph range is not out of the realm. As someone stated it was not for a record of any top speed which is calculated a bit different than what a car can eventually do on a long enough stretch. .So what is the real point in placings such a concern on this? ut:
Or the 120mph is a ... myth, tall tale, BS in the first place. DUH..LOL Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
I understood exactly what you said the first time reading comprehension is a real struggle for some on the internet
Does it look like this.... (450whp honda Oddessy one lap of america car with 10 inch wide wheels, mostly carbon body, maunal tranny, cage etc etc etc. Known to outrun many 911's, (rumor mill is it weighed less then 3000lbs) built by Honda manufacturing in Alabama as a "team building exorcise"). For what it's worth I witnessed it catch and pass a Mongoose GTP (kit car with LS7) with a Hired driver at Mid America in 2008. Mongoose picture...
Had a R56 that looked modded following me.... no doubt scratching his head a few times when I got on the gas.
OK. This is all good. But lets remember what and who this thread is about. Too much deviation from topic would require me to start a new thread and start moving posts. None of us want to make me work any harder then I already do. You all know who you are. Thanks, The Managment
