I'm getting mine redone with ceramic also. Much better heat rejection.

What's the pricing differences with the ceramic tint compared to regular? My tint needs to be redone a tad darker.

If you have to have tint removed, they charge for that as well. -
Another view from what many call the UGLY angle.

Zazoh, welcome to the forum. I was just down there in San Antonio last week.
Did that price include tint on the sunroof? Tinting the sunroof made a big difference on my car in the summer here in Dallas.

No, I had thought about it, decided I'd try without and then can add later if needed. I didn't get a price just for the sunroof. -

I had the sunroof tinted on Babs clubster. They used the ceramic tint & it really does reject the heat. What we used was pretty dark, but I wish I'd have gone limo dark for the sunroof.

I put an opaque cover on my '06 S so when I drive it now, I never have to wear a hat anymore [no sun is let it at all]. Trouble is, I have 2 other Gen 1 MINIs that don't have opaque covers, so the damned hat stays, like it or not.:mad2:

We have ceramic tint on our clubby and do enjoy it. The down side is it looks slightly silver-ish . Yours doesn't appear that way. Is that the case or is it just the photo angles?
-
@Rainman768 No, no silver hue. This is a 3M brand ceramic, they did offer a silver color and even gold, though not made by 3M, I've always just liked the gray. I didn't like the two tone darkness so didn't get Limo in the back as many do here. Went with 35% all around.
