We bought these as samples for a CAI project that never came to fruition. These filters are a great find if you want to build a DIY custom air intake for your MINI. Inlet size is 2.75". This size is ideal for the MAF sensors and inlet tubing used on the 2nd Gen Cooper and Cooper S. In order to mount this filter to your air intake system, you'll need a 2.75" ID silicone elbow, a 2.75" stainless steel joiner and some hose clamps for silicone parts.
