Do I risk damaging my ECU? Can I have the ScanGauge II connect to my iPhone to display the gauges? Boost gauge, coolant temp and HP gauge would be nice!

You would have to use one of the code readers that has that capability. If that was the only problem, I think you can go through several start/stop cycles and may have to drive it some and the code will eventually clear out of the short term and clear itself.

I believe it is 7 start stop cycles where the car reaches proper temps and a certain number of miles are added. I could be wrong on the details.

You were both correct, this morning I went out to warm up my MCS and after it reached operating temperature the yellow engine light disappeared. When I was driving last night with the yellow check engine lit up it seemed as if when accelerating that I lost that low-end torque. I also noticed before my drive that I was unable to get the engine to woosh when stepping on the gas aggressively (to 3000rpm) at idle, did the yellow check engine light put my Mini into a decreased performance mode?

:cornut: Just my $.02. Get a ScanGauge II and you can read and cancel codes and have 4 real time gauges of your choice. ~$150. Plugs right into the OBDII and takes at least 5min to install.
