I had planed on getting more videos with my quad but spent too much wheel time. I was setting up when the Donut Run went by, a large group to say the least. Anyway here it is [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkDjds4fKpk"]MINIs on the Dragon Parade 2014 - YouTube[/ame]
Cool. You had someone in vendor row very upset because you were flying that near his vehicle. I am glad it did not crash on or near his vehicle. LMAO
Chuck, there was a small pothole there on Hell Bender. I bet they were driving around it. Some appeared to straddle it.
He was also flying 100 yards or so past me the morning of the parade, I don't know his name but he was driving a Hummer, also there was another that was in a MINI he had a heliport graphic on his roof. There have been tens of thousands of these sold over the last 18 months.
Nice, nice, nice! Makes we want to make it next year! So what was the approximative attendance. It does look like a lot of cars  What did you use to film this? A drone like camera? it's really smooth and the quality isn't bad either.
Just about 700 MINIs and 1000 people, Not that large of turn out for the parade this year. Having the Moonshine party the night before makes a lot not want to get up early to catch the parade. Used a Phantom 2 with Zenmuse gimble attached to GoPro Black flight time is appox 20 min.
We had a great turnout for the Donut Run at 7:30. I guess everyone needed their caffeine and sugar fix.
Nice shot ! A few times you could have not parked a Smart car sideways between us. That was one hell of a FUN run.
I saw that and more GREAT pics today on KILLBOY and 129 photos... At one point in the pics, it looked as if Dave was going to be run over by some schlub in a blue BMW with a white Jeep hot on his ass!
Actually he was driving a Jeep Rubicon, his name is Craig. He used to have a MINI and came this year with us to do the Glamour shots and shoot video for Barry. He loves the MINI community and was just giving back. He was shooting video for Barry But Craig wasn't at the fireworks. Not sure who that was.
