Nice that those tips fill the bumper cutout better....

Your Mayor Ford has nothing on Washington DC mayor Marion Barry.
Barry was videotaped smoking crack cocaine and arrested by FBI officials on drug charges. The arrest and subsequent trial precluded Barry seeking re-election, and Barry served six months in a federal prison. After his release, however, he was elected to the DC city council in 1992 and ultimately returned to the mayoralty in 1994, serving from 1995 to 1999.
That's right he got busted smoking crack with a hooker, served time in JAIL and was re-elected.:lol::lol:-

That's a very cool car to be sure! It'd be my choice in lieu of the R53, should that day ever come.

What's the real benefit of the paceman over the countryman? I owned a countryman all4 S for almost 2 years, and the biggest difference between it and my cooper S is definitely the added weight. Looking at the specs, the paceman and countryman are the same physical size, same weight, same power, both come in JCW if you're going for a sportier faster car (which I personally highly recommend with the added weight of the countryman) So why 2 doors instead of 4? is it a looks thing?

i like the fact the on the PM there are hidden body lines... you cant see it from alot of the pics but look down the side and you can see its haunches are flared out and to me the PM seems just more planted...and i really think it goes back to the fact they went to the original design....2 doors...pillars back where they should be and with the extra bracing it just feels solid...and im with dave...i want to turn my PM into a AWD track monster...and with the help of RMW, coopercrap and a few other manufactors i may just do that

Hi! Pictures of the car look great! I have a couple of questions. You say the car gets around great in the snow and on ice but what amounts of snow accumulations are you dealing with? Realizing you live on the north shore of Lake Ontario, I live south of Lake Erie right in the snow belt. Our yearly snow fall average is 120-144 inches. Snow storms are usually 4-6 inches today, tonight and tomorrow. Accumulating one to one and a half feet. The front end of your car would be used as a snow plow where I am and it would just be packing into the front lower grill opening. I have often thought about and AWD mini for the winter. I currently have a 2005 R52 JCW.

My MINI is sure higher than R52, there it is... I am not lowering it for sure. For one reason is that this is my all year around vehicle, not "garage queen" (done that with my last R55).
We did have some nasty weather past few months: lots of snow (comparing to last few years at this location, not somewhere else like in your town or North on James Bay:wink... Then, we had great ice storm but our crack smoking Mayor refused to call it "emergency"... Thru all of this redBARON never let me down. Never a slip, spin or anything that would cause harm to people inside. I could not be more satisfied. This MINI is rushing fast to be a "favorite" or all I had so far...

I have to admit that while I like my 2014 JCW Paceman All4, I can't honestly say that I love it.
The jury is still out, regarding whether I made the right choice after I sold my 09 JCW Hardtop last Fall and picked up the Paceman.
Nothing at all "wrong" with the car. Just not sure if it's "me"..Attached Files:

You know, I haven't even replaced the stock knob yet. :blush2:
Maybe that's the first clue to myself that this car might not be for me..
