That product isn't worth the money. When Dave sees the F56, the noise he makes is much louder than the siren, and can be heard from much farther than 100 feet, making the siren completely redundant.

 

You can always add stickers........they even made my lawnmower cut more grass!

 

I've heard there's already a Dave.O security device that activates a hi-lo siren if he comes within 50 feet of the vehicle.... :lol:

 

I am working on an F56 bumper mod to make the front of your car look like an R53 and not a catfish. :lol::lol::lol:

 

He's being facetious, but the first person who actually pulls off his suggestion will make a tidy profit from it.

The F56 won't be like the R53, more like the R56, with aftermarket goodies. And it took awhile for any meaningful R56 add ons to hit the market, and even now, there really aren't THAT many.

I'd go suspension first, maybe brakes and possibly exhaust, and let the dust settle on the power mods. The first engine tunes/performance mods on the R56 weren't so hot;
let someone else be the guinea pig.

Cosmetic mods are different, as long as they're from a reliable source that should be safe.

 

Plasti-dip, Blacken the Beltline, 3rd Brake Pulsating Light, Non-RFs, Custom Stripes, and lots of driving.

 

I think it is a little early yet for the aftermarket. Only the dealerships have a few things.

 

Craven has a tow-hook license plate mount that's worth at least 10 horsepower.

 

Haven't noticed any yet, but I haven't really looked hard. Thing is, no one is really going to know if a header/exhaust is going to help much until it's been tested, and it's too early for that. Sport suspension is good, but a good aftermarket suspension will crush it, and also crush your wallet.

What are your goals for the car? That's going to drive how you go forward. It's like anything else though--you don't want to be the first on the bandwagon, many mods are billed to increase performance, then when tested end up doing more harm than good. It's cool that there are people with the F56 that already have the mod bug, but I'd preach patience.

 

Yeah I was joking but as soon as someone makes a bumper that looks better than the buck tooth or catfish face bumper MINI released they will make a huge profit.

That is as long as it is not an ugly JDM bumper design with extra vents a and LED lights and all that other garbage.

However, better to wait and you will have multiple choices. It will take awhile because vendors aren't motivated while there are so few F56 on the road.

As for the bumper, justa get a Justa.
