Hey all... First post on MA!! So I have my 09 MCS Convertible now and it's just great! Anyways, I've been looking into the S ALL4 Countryman, because I do get snow in the winter where I am, and I was wondering which is the best aftermarket exhaust to get. Preferably I'd like it to be pretty loud but not deafening, because it will be my everyday driver. Thanks for any suggestions! -Kyle :donut1:
Kyle, I truly enjoyed the sound of my Alta exhaust but if you are worried about drone or it being too loud I will recommend the Original JCW full exhaust. the exhaust is quite until you get on it and then it growls like a cornered tiger. If you are interested look into RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog and the part numbers are FRONT MUFFLER 18307587361 $324.35 Clamp 18302756352 $13.97 Rear muffler 18307587363 $401.83 CLAMPING BUSH 18307560778 $34.61 Rubber Mounting 18302753085 $15.90 2x You can reuse the Clamp 18302756352 $13.97 and the 2 Rubber Mounting 18302753085 $15.90 parts to save some money. Prices may very from dealer to dealer but the part is oem, looks great and sounds great as well! Price wise is is also comparative to aftermarket or even cheaper if the dealer will work with you.
Great website thanks! Also, I didn't see the Alta exhaust for the Countryman... Do you know if they will be making one soon? -Kyle
Kyle, Currently for the CM, it is Scorpion/Forge out of the UK and one other EU exhaust company that slips my mind. Pretty pricey but do-able. Don

And the other candidate from Italy is SuperSprint. You can see it on their FB pages, posted early May. Prices have not been released. Don
Oops sorry, I gave you the info for the Cooper S not the Countryman! Kyle best of luck with future mods.
