Agreed. At least the section where the fog lights would go looks to be a separate piece. One could possibly remove that and replace it with somthing a bit less cluttered.

Need to see it in full and painted. But it has potential.

They gotta get rid of all the horsecrap below the grill. Why couldn't they have designed something elegant and understated, they might have a chance at selling more than a handful of them.

The blind have better taste than that Dave...

Painted or not, looks like a HONDA in the mid '90s! Think I saw the same "style" of bumper for 1/4 the price at the flea-market.

Maybe off topic but many sales guys at my local Mini dealer don't like the 6-speed transmission, it's all or nothing as far as applying pressure on the clutch and flywheel thanks to the shift assist on the Mini Cooper S F56. I hope the JCW comes without that shift assist. The reason for implementing this is because it will prolong the life of the clutch and flywheel and make a guy with poor shifting skills look good, no more feathering the clutch with a gradual engagement. No more quick launches which is why the new F56 are slower than a 2013 MCS 0-60.

I think if you paint it flat black, you wouldn't even notice all the holes and vents.

Thanks. Hard to use their web site, it's mostly Japanese. I look forward to someone on this side of the pacific offering these.

That looks much better, although once you remove the blacked out area...
I love the look of the JCW 2015 its got the right look and more detailed. I plan on holding on to my R56 for a long time, that is up to the engine after my tune.

Lowering usually creates so much impact on a car's over all look.....Sad, it couldn't rescue this 1....I still say...HOPELESS!

I wish there would be a company that would resurrect old, salvaged Gen1s & update them. Much like what Frontline Developments did for the old MGBs that reincarnated into the brand new Miata-filled LE50.

    That actually looks nice! :)

Get rid of the stupid indents on the A panels, and I would drive it...

    Indeed.

Wonder how much it'd be to do a bumper swap.
