I've used ECS for parts from when they first started as were only VW parts right up to the present day. Great service and never had issues. I probably know over 100 people that would concur with my opinion.

    What about SFX? lol!
I decided against the studs. Just dont like that idea the more I read/think into it.

Found these. They're Gorilla brand. Pending what the dealership can offer these may be the ones. Then again, I'm starting to re-think the 18" idea. They look f'n sweet.... BUT, so do the factory JCW wheels. So many choices! It's not fair.

What issues? Cause by far more people switch to them than the other way around.

If I were to race it often and switch wheels out often I'd go that route. I'm ok with buying some good bolts instead of installing studs. I've had wheel studs all my life, something different is cool. Also, the studs come in different lengths and I'm not sure what to get. I'm ok with buying bolts and having a autoX set and a daily set. If I go stud route I gotta get nuts for the factory wheels too so really I'd be spending more to achieve the same goal.
Ultimately I'll have a set of light racing wheels for autoX'ing. This is just a "for now" kinda deal with the 18's. If I get more into the AutoX thing, this will be my first year, I'll think about installing the studs.
