Just the main airbag light, I tested the seat sensor by putting some weight on it the passenger light turned on. I think i'll just live with it for now. Eventually i'll get a bavtech scanner and really figure out what it is.

I think it was answered 2 pages ago. Electrical tape sounds like the easiest option. and I guess I'll pull those pesky seat belts

You can try the BMW airbag tool or for a buck you can put a small piece of black electrical tape over the airbag light from the back if you just don't want to see the light anymore.

I bet they have a mileage limit on that and broknsmurf is about to roll over to 146k. That and I'm sure they will say my engine mounts caused excessive vibration hence killing the harness or some other BS. I stay clear of the dealer usually.

They sent me a sticker to put in the manual that told the miles and years. When the light came back on I called the dealer, they said they knew nothing about it. So I called MINI USA they said the same thing. I told them they are the ones that mail it to me. It didn't help.

I really like that red airbag light, it adds charm.:(

My parents, 4 older bothers and may others have wrecked may cars without airbags and they all lived a long time with just a seat belt.

Air bags make people forget about paying attention while driving. The more you are at risk the more attentive and aware of things going on around you.
*If you're not on the phone.

Set belts are fine, read again.

Just don't make a law that say I must wear them. :incazzato: I don't need the government inside my car.

Is it just the main airbag light, or also the overhead passenger air bag off light? The overhead light is caused by the seat sensor problem.

We need a board of directors to issue membership badge numbers and invent the secret hi-sign (not the he-man woman haters club hi-sign either though it may be appropriate) then certify applicants to be taught how and when to use it.
