The Craven plates are better.

Why..
Craven is a US company that makes their own stuff in their own shop. They make good stuff, not farmed out to China. They support the community all the time.
Oh, and they are good people too.

On the subject of M7 Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates, though, I can say that the ones I have on all 3 of my MINIS have never failed me. Of course, my first set went on in 2005, the second set went on in 2006, and the last set went on in 2013 when I found a used set here in M/A for my wife's S. Except for her car, I have tracked and done the twisty and MOTD things with my other 2 cars. As I stated earlier, not once have those plates ever failed me OR my cars.-

I may just put the studs on, hammer the towers, install the tower plates and cruise parts..... Then just drop it off at the dealer.
They can do an alignment, program the cruise and new key, all at the same time.-

As you know with the mushroomed towers the alignment will be off and probably can't get it back to spec till you address that... I can't help on the differences if any for the factory spec between models..

They probably are. But I have the m7 in the back of my truck. Already ordered.

That is exactly what is did when I first got my MINI.
When you use a BFH to get the strut tower back in shape use a 2x4 and it will not leave hammer marks. :cornut:
