I'm sure happy he was OK
I'm Glad Allen was OK after a crash like that. It was good to see him get out of that mess and seem to be fine. -

Anybody else think stuck throttle everybody else is slowing and his car seems to just take off. Having tons of experience on that track (all on GT) I know that is not a place to give it the gas.

I was surprised to see him make a mistake like that. Very scary for all of those folks behind the barrier. Man they were all well & truly LUCKY!!! I figures Allen would be OK, but those other folks had me very worried.

Goes to show just how far race safety has come... That car was utterly destroyed, but the driver walked away and it didn't explode.
That was an amazingly hard hit -- just look at the damage to the armco BEHIND the tire barrier in the aerial shot where you can see the tires sticking out into the gravel trap. Wow.
Glad nobody, especially spectators, was hurt. -
I have no idea where he thought he was going... If he hadn't hit the Ferrari, he would have plowed into the Porsche's at that rate of closure. If it wasn't a mechanical failure, then he brain farted HUGE.

Hate to say it, but he was being way to aggressive to early in the race. He really wanted past the other prototype car as he had been hounding him for the previous lap. He saw that he was in front of him at that turn, but didn't want to be held up by the GT car and wanted to maintain hos position so he attempted a pass where he had no business trying to. To bad as I would have liked to see him compete for the win again, but a bad decision ended his race and the anothers.

It is truly amazing that none of the people standing nearby were seriously injured.
That one poor cameraman must've thought the rogue tire was singling him out!
Glad that no one was hurt, but the driver clearly needs a change of shorts! -

......Audi looses another car.
Rockenfeller got squeezed by a GT car and crashed heavily. Reports are he climbed from the wreck under his own power. Was transported by ambulance from accident scene. -
Horrific wreck..... Poor driving and experience from the GT car were to blame.

Yea Audi crash #2 looked scarier but reports are in that he is OK. The second was an obvious mistake by a GT driver, but shitty GT drivers are part of racing at Le Mans so the Audi driver should have known better than to cut it that close. Glad to hear no injuries, and someone please tell that third Audi driver to be careful!!!

I want to see a diagram of all the tiny parts and pieces from one of these crashes, like they show you the whole car in parts before assembly.

But it is the faster cars responsibility to make a clean and safe pass. while I love the whole multi-class racing, this is the primary reason not to. -
Holy Guacamole Rocky's crash was horrifying!!!
One Audi left.... -

That second one looked like a plane crash. Glad Rocky survived & is OK. They really need to look at some of those privateer's credentials. A large check book is not enough.
