Oh, Lookie here, lunch Hello Mr Starling.... Heh heh... Gotcha... Photographer Rob Palmer captured these incredible pictures in Colorado, U.S. The 56-year-old, from Littleton, said: 'I noticed a group of eagles sitting in the trees and then I spotted they were catching the starlings and blackbirds.'
Cool. The Starlings around here hang out in gangs and harass all the other birds. Noisy buggers too. Mark
 ......or me and my BBQ chicken! Wish we had a few (hundred) of those eagles around here. Hate those damn starlings...:mad5:
Totally awesome pics. Bald Eagle fans might also enjoy this link to 24-hour streaming video of a local eagle's nest just south of town, across the road from a trout hatchery. It seems to produce new birds every year. In fact, a pair has been incubating three eggs for the past couple of weeks: Decorah Bald Eagle Camera: Decorah Bald Eagle Video Stream FYI, the bandwidth often gets maxed out during school hours.
EAGLES RULE!! WOW!! Amazing pics. Worked at the San Diego Wild Animal Park for +30yrs and once saw a Golden Eagle nail a Mallard that way, but out of a full stoop. Kinda like a Sparrow missile strike only lots of feathers instead of aluminum floating around! :eek6:
