This just might make it easier for me to FINALLY attend an AMVIV.

Third weekend of the month means I won't be able to attend :mad5:

What Julie didn't say in the original post was that there was a major conflict the original AMVIV weekend. Another convention was in town that typically sells out EVERY hotel in town...so we had zero leverage on room rates or other issues (it only occurs every 5th year or so, so we hadn't seen it before). We looked at a lot of dates and frankly May 19 – May 22 was our only choice due to March Madness, Easter, other conventions, etc...
We realize this is tight with the Dragon but there was no other open date until July and then it's like 115 degrees in Vegas...even the locals stay indoors then.
For what it's worth, I'm planning on going to the Dragon and then racing back to Vegas for the AMVIV 2 week home stretch. -

Last year at AMVIV 7 I got to celebrate my wife's birthday, this year it will be my youngest daughters birthday. Hopefully the winds won't be as strong or the set up for the vendors is as it was on the second day in the parking garage.

That's the weekend before a long weekend in Canada. Also, is mothers day in there too?
