I've repaired Deutz diesels. They are used as auxiliary generators. Often, when a ship has more reefer containers than the ship's generators have the capacity for, they'll load some air cooled Deutz diesel generators on deck to compensate.

We had a Deutz diesel in one of our fire engines back in the late 80s. I remember that it didn't do well in the application because it couldn't cool properly being confined in the enclosed in the engine compartment cowling.
That is one BadA$$ roadster though.
