I am glad venomous creatures seem to hate the cold.
How do you go about moving such a creature?

Hate worse than spiders (except wolf spiders), very rude ticks and chiggers!

A while back I found a black widow sitting right in the middle of the driver's seat in my MINI. I spotted it just as I was about to sit on it...

Yesterday I found this guy. It's not only both pretty and ugly at the same time, it's also big...that abdomen is about 3/4" diameter, almost spherical, and legs spread out it's close to 3".

I've never seen one before but I've since learned it's a female marbled orb weaver.

Be glad you aren't here in Austin. I've been stompin, swattin, and spraying for Bark Scorpions at my place (pic of the last dead one I found about three weeks ago attached)

    Always checking my shoes too...

Haven't seen any scorpions up here in Round Rock...wonder if a pet store burned down near you. Do you see flocks of parrots??
