    Although the timing chain/tensioner isn't an issue at the moment I would make sure it gets covered under warranty, either the original or the extended as it is almost a $2000 project. I bought my 08 at 48,450 and started hearing the chain at 50,050 miles....dealer wouldn't do a thing for me.

    Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!

    The warranty was purchased through Carmax and it's very flexible, if I have a defect or something fails that's not do to normal wear and tear ($150/$200) deductible, I can take it to Carmax Irvine or the Irvine BMW dealer. Let's just pray and hope that I never have an expensive repair of that magnitude!
