I have dunlop star specs and a V1. When I did Drive to work I drove the same way.

    I miss driving everyday sometimes.

I noticed ATI offers a lightweight titanium bolt kit, is it worth the extra $50 to get it?

It's actually 9 bolts. The ones used to hold the assembly together...

Not sure how much of a weight savings it would be though. I'll probably pass on that option. [emoji4]

Yeah the bolts are not worth the extra cash.

    Thanks for the insight Chad.
On another note, it looks like UPS has lost my tensioner tool again for the second time this month AND my new idler pulley. Oh well, time to file another claim.

What is that statement based on? a blower with a 17 or 19% will fail early, but
a blower with a 15% will have the same life span as a blower with a stock pulley? That is BS. The worst that can be claimed is that the blower may fail 2% sooner, if all other things were equal (which they will never be).

Make the pulley decision based on the condition of the motor, intended use of the car, and level of maintenance/care one plans on putting into the car in the future.

Yeeeaaaah......i didnt think you had any data to support your comment.

Yes, any over-driven SC will make more heat than the stock setup, INCLUDING one with a 15% pulley.

Hey 2 post its looks like you are on the wrong forum you should be on the NAM.

You want data go look it up for yourself I am not going to spoon feed you knowledge I and EVERYONE else already knows.

Also it looks like you have an ax to grind with me Mr. Hide behind a keyboard and post nothing about yourself. All my info is out for all to see so who are you?

Are you not comfortable exposing yourself as a fraud? Send me a PM or an e-mail and I will be more than happy to call and educate you. If you do I fact leave your mothers basement and if you are at the Dragon this year ask around I am easy to find.

Dave.....why when someone has a different opinion than you always gets lambasted? There are thousands of 1st gens out there with over 17%....either with just the SC pulley, or both the SC and the crank pulley combined, with no issues? Common sense is a must when running this %, but they still run fine.

Jimmini, go craw back under your rock because you bring nothing to this conversation at all. You just like to come into threads and stoke the flames and it's getting old.

Go be a good little boy and go see Lynn in Jail.

Fyi you always cry poor and can't afford the good parts. Here is a idea go sell your MINI and ride your pedal bike or get a better job.

    Stop crying poor.

Just go away no one cares about anything you have to say.....EVER.

Haven't you learned that over the past few years? Nobody cares what you say.

Yeah, I live in Dallas so heat is a major concern for me. I will eventually be going with bigger injectors and probably a tune from RMW. I just picked up this little puppy for a song so it should help.

GP is the best unless you happen to come across one of the DOS copper core I/C's... They are extremely rare, but do offer a little more than the GP. ;)

But with meth (bottle not baggie) the OE S I/C is good for a hundred or so HP over stock. ;)

If you run Meth do you need a bigger I/C?

Well thats what I thought. For now I plan on getting bigger injectors and Meth. I just wanted to make sure I did not need to add a bigger I/C to the list.
