https://goo.gl/photos/sjXzahpwPZ4meTXA7 just noticed this link doesn't work here's how Mini looks on da snow =o)
In the middle of building another rally car and put my Mini up for sale now. $11.900 Canadian or $9.500 USD if You uses own seats and belts or + $1500 if You want mine. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/d/2005-mini-cooper-jcw-stage/6467714135.html
Thanks. I'm building 2015 Fiesta ST and about two months into the project at this point. but might as well end up selling it and keep the Mini if i don't get a fair offer =o)
I hope you get a fair offer.... in some ways I also hope you don’t so we can continue to read about the build.. (Granted you could post the Fiesta build here also)..
hahaha if i did i'd be banned for life! lol on the other hand i just got another project. man i now have three projects beside Mini!
LOL - you would think that but nope. Believe it or not I found some “BMW” project cars while doing the migration. Not sure about everyone else, but I just love watching someone build something. Granted would be better as a MINI for the ST can be a barn burner. You referenced a 3rd project... what is that? If you do build the ST, let me know as I want to have a few people testing out the “Garage blog”.. I.e. garages and project builds. I will be doing that with the GP2.
don't tell anyone i bought 2018 WRX from the insurance company needs some body work but it's nothing i haven't done before. got it dirty cheap which makes it a perfect stage rally donor car now i can spend a few bux on half decent suspension! will be ready for 2019 season. as for Mini i love the car, love how it pulls but suspension-wise it needs major changes. at least rear! there's a dude in Montreal who runs it on stages and he's stupid fast but man You should see his rear suspension. it's completely hand made and he went as far as cutting rear rails to accommodate long travel coilovers ...don't know if picture will attach but here's how it looks:
Wow - that is all custom. He had to spend a good bit of time figuring out the math/dynamics to get that correct. That said, its looks good and is very "simple" The floating break line is a little scary to me. However I see the eyelet I assume it would go into? Otherwise wouldn't there be a risk of it getting caught up in something and it being ripped off? I would love to see him join the site and do a car build on that bad boy. Did you start working on the WRX yet?
WRX will be sitting under the tarp for at least another month or two patiently waiting for Fiesta to roll outa garage =o) as for the picture i'm sure it was taken during fitment test because there's no even underbody protection there ...at some point i took a picture of my external cans held up by a tread. you wouldn't think it was a finished product would ya? =o)
@alexinvancouver - do you still have the pictures of this thread? If so, I'll be happy to edit/add them (or you can).. love these types of threads and I have not figured out a way to get to them yet. I'm working on the other threads that have photobucket (work around I hope). Also, how is the sale going? Anyone buy?
i do have pictures and can forward them to You as for the sale i had 4 guys who showed interest but none had a clue about stage rally and how it works to begin with. i guess they just wanted it for d.d. to impress friends lol. so it's still up for sale on craigslist.

I just checked the code.. I know why it’s not working. The files you are trying to attach are in google drive not actually on your physical device. I’ll get a screen shot in a bit.
