I got the idea when I saw a Team O'Neil video where they do a similar thing, but use old harnesses. Since I don't have old harnesses laying around, but have seatbelts, I figured I would try them and see how well it worked. So far so good. I just melted the areas where I cut so that they wouldn't fray.
I have been neglecting this thread, my apologies. The whole rally Colorado series is out. I'll just link part 4 which actually has some rally driving. Below that is a video with a walk around of the Mini.
For a real update, I'm probably done for the year, unfortunately. I got engaged, so the cost of the ring and saving up for a wedding are eating at my budget. In addition to that, my fiancee lost her job and was between jobs for about a month. So I don't really have money to spare for a entry fees. But I will save up for next year, and hopefully that will be much better.
At this point, the car doesn't need much. Just do some maintenance to prepare for next year. Need to buy spare parts too. I would like to do something about the exhaust. It was sad to have a Yaris sound more intimidating, haha.
