No, the current and 1st gen MINI have English configuration. It looks like they are switching to standard BMW configuration with filler cap on the right and single exhaust on the left (makes more sense for driving on the right).
Yeah, and a lot cheaper than a parachute, plus no the hassle with repacking! And the driver must be really not paying attention, 'cause won't that throw a cel?!
Okay I have one question, how is it that all of these test mules have such clean rims? I can't even keep my rims clean for one day...
Another thought, it looks like the "overhang" that were on some of the mules were put on to just cover up the lower part of the bumper. If you look at a profile of both versions, the hood looks to have the same shape but the lower bumper is different.
