Been there, done that several years ago to Asheville... it's not a bad drive through the night. I need to reach out to my family friends in the area and see about spending a few nights there (they're 12 miles from Fontana Village). Trying to keep the spending down if I decide to roll down.
Starting to put the gears in motion. I'm in charge of making the schedule for my department for the rest of the month... working on sorting that out today. Also reached out to my friends in the area, all set there. Now... just need some nice weather and good fortune.
