Anyone interested in a train ride?

    train ride

    I'm very interested. I love riding trains :idea:. Could it be on a day when it rains :arf:.

    Sounds like fun!
    I may be down for 2. It may break up the trip and be something different to do while we are down there.

    Not sure how I missed this thread, but that sounds like a plan to me! Wife loves train rides. Put us down for 3 as a pretty definite probably!

    The wife and I were there on vacation back in 1996. We could hear the train whistle from our campsite from many miles away.

    We went into Bryson City to find out that we had lucked out and was able to get tickets for the train ride. What was real lucky was that the engine being used that weekend was a steam engine that is brought out only once in awhile. Maybe you all will get lucky and the steam train will be running that weekend.
