I installed this one and I have to tell you it was one of the hardest parts to install that I have done yet. The mounting bolt was a PITA! I do have the turbo whine now and love it! as for power increase, not that much but I still like it.

david, you have a different part number in the picture link you posted. g2nme2051 doesn't exist on the site if you search for it...Maybe the new version (g2nme2055) doesn't need to be bolted in? What's the bolt supporting anyway?

Hmm... I found this: Forge Reasonator Delete Hose - Way Motor Works from our friends at WMW. Looks like the same job for a bit more $$$ but just the hose. Easier install perhaps? There is also a caviate that it was built fro RHD vehicles and may or may not fit LHD.
And here is another for WAAAYYY more cash:

Jason Montague New MemberLifetime Supporter:cornut:I have to agree with the difficulty of installation post above. I got the Alta(don't know whether they are still around. Another story)CAI,turbo intake hose/tube,boost tube kit(ingress and egress tube/hoses for the intercooler) and finally had to take them to Steve @ Mini of Dallas for installation. He increased his 4 letter word vocabulary significantly during the install. However, she really sounds good now and the 'blow off valve whoosh' is a comforting sound. Increased performance? Maybe it's just operator head space but it sure sounds good.

Supposedly you can do the same thing easily with a piece of stainless tubing. Paint it black and call it a day lol.
