Well checking out other car forums it seems this stuff is a "HIT" ? So I am going to get a can tomorrow and play around with it myself.

If you go to the armor all web site, you can download a rebate coupon and get the wheel protector for free.
-
I will get 2 then. Come by and we will test this stuff out.

Yeah, that would be the test, wouldn't it?
Spray my wheels here, let them dry, point Fundo west and hit the go pedal.
I'll be the Dark Silver with the Ohio plates pulling into your driveway.
Wait, no that won't work...... Can't do it....... I don't have any red on Fungo. I'm afraid they would clash.:frown2:
Uhhh, come to think of it, you can't use this stuff. Your MINI doesn't have wheels. Only jack stands.:lol::lol: -

There's got to be a word of the day for "Red Fixation"......
Damn...... There's a red moped reflected off the side of your MINI. -

Well, folks. This stuff works. it really, really works. Washed the car and the wheels three weeks ago. I mean I took the wheels off, removed all the gunk with Goo Gone and Simple green and a lot of elbow grease. Sprayed this stuff on my wheels and went about my business. Usually after three weeks my wheels are dirty. Really OEM Brake Pads dirty. Not this time. Here are some pics:
The streaks on the lip are most likely due to not letting the wheels dry long enough and the trapped water washing away the protective coating.
And to show what it would usually look like, here is a close up of a spot the wife missed when she was spraying:
Overall, well worth the $8.95 I paid for the can at Pep Boys. And there are plenty more applications left in that can. I will be doing my black wheels this weekend and will post some before and afters. -

I just got home from O'Reilly's with a can of that stuff, going to give it a try right away. I also got a bottle of their wheel cleaner, I'll post something up when I try them out. First I need to install the battery I finally got around to getting:rolleyes5:

Is it the only ArmorAll wheel protectant? If not, which one is it? (Sorry. The video is gone from the original post.)

So I tried the wheel cleaner, and it worked pretty good. It does say to not spray it on brake parts, so I tried on some dirty extra wheels. I'll do the ones on the car when I rotate the tires. It seemed to work faster, and with way less elbow grease than Simple Green.
I did figure out that rather than spraying the cleaner on the wheel, then wiping, I sprayed it on a towel and it worked just as good.
Now on to the Protectant. It goes on easy, but the test will be in a week when I wash the car. So what I did was just apply it to the passenger side wheels, that way I can see how easy the wheels clean up.

This is what I used. It really did work well, and I have an aversion to Armorall products.

This is good to know. Thanks for the tipI'm going to try it for protection and ease of cleaning.
