I have always been inspired and impressed by people who have an insatiable desire to pursue an interest especially when it benefits others. I think the Motoring File is a case in point and I most appreciate their enterprising spirit even though it is not their prinicpal employment nor necessarily a money maker. (Perhaps you, Nathan, are similar?)

    If it is not.....

their primary place of employment, it might as well be! There are been times when I obviously needed help, and Nathan seems to send me an email....no matter what time of the day.

MA is the one site/business/support channel for all to emulate!

    Thank you MA!

M/A is not a full time job in regards to income for me. I've never tried to hide the fact that M/A is a for profit entity, but if I had to live solely on M/A revenues I'd qualify for food stamps and other social initiatives.

I do this because I like it, I like it a lot. For the most part it's a great gig. Like all jobs at times there are parts I don't like.

My main income comes from consulting contracts with other site owners. Since I am a freelancer that works from a home office this allows me to keep M/A open all day, reply to emails quickly and in general run the site in a manner that I think covers the "best practices" when being the steward of this type of website.
