Well, I say own one and rent the otherthis way you can mod the one to your hearts content and "just" drive the other and have a new MINI every few years
of course not at the same time, where I mean not buy one and rent one together.....
Just rambling now, it's gonna be 65 today and due to the salt still on the road, RDNZL is still sleeping :-(

:cornut: For me, I have to own it and only be beholden to myself or the bank. If I rent it then I either can't mod it or must change it back prior to returning it. The only way that I would rent would be if I had a daily traveling job and was racking up the miles such that I had to trade yearly or every 2 yrs.

This is exactly what me and my wife are doing. And thank goodness we did: She's had an opportunity to drive my JCW a couple of times and now she only tolerates driving her "Justa". In 2 more years, she'll buy her "S".

What's the intended use? Is the newb going to play or commute? A lease has a high value for a business person and just may enable him/her to know for sure they'll need to make a purchase when the leae is up. Best'a luck.
