I was originally going to post about Sirius, but I answered my own question. :beer

So...next on my ICE to-do list is hardwiring a GOPRO unit so that I will be able to record whenever I am in Schultze without having to worry about recharging the GOPRO battery.

I read MOL's writeup about hardwiring a radar detector, so I'm hoping the same process would work for the GOPRO unit.

Here is some background info to explain why I want to do this project:

I do a LOT of interstate driving and have witnessed MANY accidents which resulted in me testifying in court. There have also been MANY times where Schultze & I have experienced close calls due to someone else's negligence.

I feel that having "video testimony" would make things so much easier when situations occur.

I will probably purchase this mount since I will want quick access to swapping out the memory card and I won't need waterproof coverage.

I'm looking forward to everyone's input, suggestions, etc.

If it can be done, I imagine with an add-fuse and wiring you can do it.

Will that mount have no vibration when a go-pro is clipped into it?

Looks interesting, keep us up to date on progress. :)
