A guy with a 2004 S stayed in the room next to me. Saturday night he was outside installing the brand new strut bar and DDM air diverter. He gave me his old strut bar and Alta air diverter. I went into my room and when I came out, he was installing the air diverter on my car. As it was late, I left it on for the ride home and noticed my IA temps went down aprox. 20 degrees depending on driving conditions. I don't know what I'm going to do with the strut bar as I already have plates...

Upper strut bars don't do much on MINI's, unless your racing, other than get in the way. There may be some benefit being that yours is a convertible. I would look for some input from a few convertible people. I bet Paul would have a good idea on it. If you keep it you can sell the plates.

Paul has a big red one. In my car, I'm installing the same one the JCW Racing team is using. May not be a big improvement, but can't hurt.
