Not hurting my feelings as I've never had good luck with it in a MINI, caused many spongy peddles so I only use the Motul.

They should have just printed off some stickers and applied it to the cans that said: "FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY"

    There... Fixed...

I use Rain-X green in summer & Rain-X orange in winter. My washers have a nice firm push, not spongy at all. :)

But it matches my paint job. Gots to have BLU.

I remember back in the old days when we had to have sealed beam headlights. The best 1935 tech there was. Used to buy Cibie headlights that had stickers on them that said motardcycle only. Made my MG handle like a sport bike.

    Nathan,

I get the desire for this thread to not devolve into an anti-gov rant. But, really?

    Madness. Madness.

Back in the 80's Ferrari's F40 came stock with a 5 point harness. But to make it comply with DOT regs they had to put a passive restraint in it. I read a interview where a government official admitted that the 5 point was safer but the law was the law. :mad2:

RainX Orange should be illegal because the color would conflict with orange or amber brake fluid. or partially used motor oil.

Rain-X greeen should be illegal because that would conflict with the color of coolant.

No problem. ATE TYP200 is the same but not blue. Good for brake flushes so you can tell when all the blue is out.

15yrs later and they deem it unsafe for use. I use Super Blue in my e36 on occasion looks like I might have to use Motul or ATE TYP200. In a way I guess its ok since there are some many different types of DOT 4 brake fluids out there.

But the FMVSS should have decided this oh I don't know 15yrs ago, when Continental was coming out with Super Blue.

How would the Government know we are using Super Blue, its not like they would check the master cylinder for the color?

Edit: I missed the part in the first post about not starting an anti-gov't love fest. Post retracted.

I never even used this stuff but this makes me want to buy as much of it as I can find.
