The Audi Corporation buys the Ducati Corporation and renames the Company AC/DC.

Interesting. As a Ducati owner, I'd say it could be good could be bad. Guess we will see. I like both Audi and Ducati. Let's hope they work well. Over all it sounds like they just got it because they can. :) sounds good!

I don't get the Audi paid about the same for Ducati as Facebook did for Instagram. What relevance does that have to anything? Does the writer feel smarter and extremely clever because he thought of it?

Keyword stuffing for Search Engine optimization. Both Facebook and Instagram are highly searched items. By placing them in the text it gets picked up by the search engines and over time will bring people to the page showing them advertising.

    It's a very common practice.

Even if there's some truth to what Nathan said, I'd bet it's also partly the "look how clever I am" bit, though MANY writing about this are using the same material.

Essentially: how interesting that an amazing bike company like Ducati is worth the same as a single app...

Well every idiot with a smart phone can use instagram. So it's actually good that Ducati is worth what that app which probably is used by many times more people than those who use Ducatis. :biggrin5:

Granted the products are not priced the same etc etc. Still, I bet the stats would be impressive.

Edit: 42000 bikes sold last year. 2 million instagram users in the first 6 weeks.
