Looks like the head off of a VR6. Nasty nasty nasty. :frown2:

 

Quick walnut blasting, it'll be fine. Or so they say.

 

They did come with the VR6 which is the... Well, used to be engine pictured.

 

VR6. Had similar motor in my 2004 R32.
250 horsepower, 250 torque. No waiting.

 

Buddy of mine still has his Mk IV R32. Barely 55k miles on the damn thing.

 

My guess is the owner says he just wants to just clean it with a little cap of Seafoam in the oil and fuel tank because the Internet says it will work.
The Internet also told the owner That looks normal and helps the motor not make Ping noises.

The dealer is trying to rip him off. :lol:

 

My sister had an Audi TT it was a four cylinder.

Dated a girl in Tennessee with one, and drove the **** out of that thing!

 

The black death! I've rebuilt so many engines in the 80's with this problem. Most owners did short journeys so the condensation never burnt off.
