Well if we're ever in the same place long enough, I've got the manual ac and always wanted the auto, don't know why I didn't order it that way.

 

I like the MINI auto climate control. At least the one in Babs clubster. I did not buy it with my MINI & the reason why was $500. I figured that money would be better spent on the LSD & a dozen donuts. :donut1:

 

I like the manuel controls. It is a small cabin and I have always been able to tell when I am too hot or too cold. Just a gift I have I guess.

I have the automatic HVAC control and I really like it, set and forget.

I bought my MINI new off the lot and it just came with it. There was a promotion at my dealer in which the auto transmission was free, so I didn't pay extra for it.

I actually got more options and paid less for my MINI than the one I designed on the build your own site, and I didn't have to wait for it to float in on the boat. rrr:

You have to change all of it not just the panel. The flaps on Auto system have motors, the manual has cables. So it would be ALOT of work.

 

Damn that sucks, because I'm with Professor on this, I would change my auto climate to manual if it was easier.
