But what if you don't give a rat's ass about your milage?

Personally, I do care about my gas milage, because I like to keep my money in my pocket. But, the other features interest me more than that one.

Have one. Worked on my Passat but seems to not register trips correctly when set up for my Mini. Android app for it is very finicky. It gives you some extra data connection methods and you can run IFTTT recipes with it - sometimes.

That might be interesting. If they work the bugs out and get a consistent product I would def get one. I drive my mini for fun and get decent gas mileage around town I'm a racer on the freeway I'm a grandma.... So that's not top priority.

It does say it will work with other apps as Well.....

I have had one for about 6 months now. I wouldn't call it useful, but it is interesting. It arbitrarily decides that over 70 is a negative and deducts points for every minute over. And hard brakes and accelerations are also squawked at, which in a MINI is all the time. I now use it mostly to condition my 15 YO to expect it in his car next year.

At my age...if there is a 'learning' curve, I'm not buying it.
